Jaeger-Lecoultre Unveils a New Reverso Tribute for the Year of the Dragon

Following the unveiling of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Hokusai Reverso Tribute timepieces, the prestigious Maison now reveals a sleek new iteration dedicated to the upcoming Lunar New Year. The reference, aptly named the Reverso Tribute Enamel Dragon features a dynamically engraved depiction of the Chinese dragon to nod to the arrival of the Year of the Dragon.

Synonymous with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s previous Lunar New Year timepieces, the Reverso Tribute Enamel Dragon comes in the signature, Art Deco-inspired rectangular shape. Crafted in 18K pink gold, both sides of the time-teller feature Grand Feu enamel in a high-gloss finish.

One side houses the faceted applied hour markers, chemin de fer minutes track, and Dauphin-shaped hands in matching pink gold. Meanwhile, emblazoned on the other side is a vigorous dragon motif. Paired with golden clouds, the soaring dragon took the experienced master enameller 80 hours to engrave, despite having former experiences on the Reverso Tribute Enamel Tiger edition from last year.

The watch is powered by the Maison’s own Calibre 822, a manually wound movement that’s capable of running 45 hours continuously. Available only on a made-to-order basis, those who are interested can enquire about it on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s website.
