When we try to think of a location that matches singer and actress Miley Cyrus, Malibu undeniably comes up. Whether it’s the fact that she lived there for years during her former marriage to Liam Hemsworth or her 2017 hit single “Malibu,” Cyrus has made it clear that the picturesque locale is one of her favorites.
Proving her love for the city once more, Cyrus recently bought herself a new home there, Dirt reported. For $7.9 million, the “Party in the U.S.A.” singer is now the proud owner of a six-bedroom, six-bathroom (plus one glam room) home located in a gated community in the Malibu hills.
Built in 1999, the home is massive with over 6,500 square feet in a lot of approximately 1.5 acres. There’s plenty of space to get her creative juices flowing or to invite friends for get-together at this Mediterranean villa-style home, which is brimming with elegance and charm thanks to its the white walls and massive windows allowing for plenty of natural light to come in.
Another highlight is its second story, an area with three delineated “entertaining rooms” including a living room, a dining room, and a game room. A place for any sort of occasion!
Earlier in the summer, Cyrus made a huge real estate play by selling her Franklin, Tennessee ranch for a 150% profit. The off-market deal landed the “Prisoner” singer with $14.5 million in her pocket after paying $5.8 million for the estate in 2017 — talk about a wise investment!
