As the winter nights roll in, we could all take a leaf out of Garfield‘s book, stocking up on lasagne before laying around the house in our coziest garms. Now, Wood Wood has made this dream somewhat a reality with its “Garfield by Wood Wood” capsule collection.
Like many of us around the world, Wood Wood founders Brian SS Jensen and Karl-Oskar Olsen were fans of the loveable lazy cat when growing up. The two actually used to draw the character, and this concept has been translated into the Copenhagen-based brand’s Fall/Winter 2021 collaboration.
For example, the loose sketched nature of the artwork that graces plenty of goods throughout the collection is reminiscent of the Wood Wood founders’ childhood drawings, often placed next to Wood Wood’s signature “Double-A” emblem in a playful manner. Elsewhere, the aforementioned emblem has been reworked into the Garfield title logo, while kids are given merino wool scarfs and beanies that continue the collection’s theme.
“Garfield by Wood Wood” can be seen above and is due to drop at Wood Wood’s stores and online from November 6.
