Saucony Originals Dips Into the Archive to Release Jazz 81

Saucony Originals is celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of its best-loved silhouettes, the Jazz O’ sneaker. Honoring the shoe’s landmark, the footwear label has introduced the Jazz 81, which mixes the silhouette’s classic aesthetic with more premium materials and a whole host of new details.

With an upper made of high-quality mesh and premium suede inserts, the sneaker is finished with a navy blue and silver colorway. Additionally, Saucony has updated the sneaker’s contour lines and removed the “S” logo that appeared on the lateral side to give a more refined look. Other features include a PU insole, internal Strobel stitching and a moulded EVA midsole combined with air-injected rubber outsole.

While Saucony has only revealed the “Navy Blue/Silver” colorway in the above campaign, the Jazz 81 sneaker is also available in “Black/Silver” and “Gray/Silver.” Meanwhile, Saucony Originals is due to release a wide range of new colorways and designs in the near future.

The Saucony Originals Jazz 81 is available now from the brand’s web store.
