Known for its watchmaking and everyday carry gear, Detroit-based design company Shinola is now moving into the home furniture space with a new collaboration with homeware expert Crate & Barrel.
Combining the two companies’ attention to detail and respect for great craftsmanship, the new collection spans across a wide range of decor and statement items for your home, ranging from larger pieces like sofas and beds to utility options such as coffee tables and computer desks. In true Shinola fashion, there’s also a whole roster of decorative options as well, including desk clocks, patterned pillows, framed mirrors, and a variety of lamps.
Some standout pieces include the Runwell Wood Frame Leather Sofa — constructed from white European oak, premium cotton-linen upholstery and padded leather straps — the Parker Wood Table Lamp with Woven Leather Shade, and the Runwell Leather and Wood End Table with Shelf.
Prices range from anywhere between $40 USD to 4,300 USD and you can shop the collection over at Crate & Barrel’s website.
Elsewhere in design, Hermès has crafted a $1,140 USD dog bowl.
