Spinnaker Taps Ben Li for Limited Dumas Automatic Inkdial Watches Collab

British watchmaker Spinnaker has unveiled a series of limited-edition Dumas Automatic prints that accompanies the sale of each watch. The prints feature horological illustrations hand-drawn by Ben Li, who goes by the alias of Inkdial.

Speaking on the collaboration, the illustrator explains in a press release that he’s been familiar with the watch brand for quite some time. “What interested me the most about the brand would be the diving and heritage-inspired watches that are yet fun and vibrant in design. And I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the upcoming releases in the future,” says Inkdial in an official press release.

The Dumas Automatic timepieces come in a 44mm stainless steel case with matching hexagonal link bracelets. A diver watch by nature, the Dumas Automatic is equipped with 30 ATM water resistance, along with other usual features for its kind, such as applied indices and hands coated in Super-LumiNova coating for readability in the dark. Beating inside the model is a made-in-Japan automatic movement, complete with a three-hands date function.

Limited to 300 prints, each Dumas Automatic timepiece purchased right now will come packaged in a specially designed box that features custom artwork by Inkdial. The watches retail for £410 GBP ( approximately $400 USD) and are available via Spinnaker’s online store.
