'The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller' Is a Celebration of the Late Artist's Life and Music

The estate of Mac Miller has officially announced the release of The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller.

Written by Donna-Claire Chesman, the 320-page book is an exploration of the late artist’s life and music via oral histories, intimate reflections and examinations of his work. The author, who has been a fan of Miller since his days as a mixtape artist, spent a year interviewing the musician’s closest friends and collaborators, including his Most Dope Family in Pittsburgh, Thundercat, Syd, Big Jerm, Rex Arrow, Wiz Khalifa, Benjy Grinberg, Just Blaze, Josh Berg and more. Their words and Chesman’s commentary offer an authentic and touching portrait of Miller, truly displaying his complexity as an artist and the heartbreak that everyone felt when he left early.

Donna-Claire Chesman’s The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller is available now for pre-order via Amazon at $28 USD and is scheduled to release October 26.
