Tiffani Thiessen is celebrating a bittersweet milestone this week — her eldest child, daughter Harper Renn, has officially crossed over into the double-digit years. Late Monday, the Alexa & Katie actress posted a heartfelt tribute in honor of her firstborn turning 10. And judging by the birthday photo Thiessen shared, Harper is growing up to look more and more like her famous mama every day.
Taking to Instagram, Thiessen tried to sum up her sentiments in the caption of a cute birthday snapshot. “This beautiful, bright, adventurous, funny kid of mine made me a mommy 10 years ago today. I truly can’t believe how time has passed. I could not be more proud of the person you are and continue to become,” she wrote, addressing her adorable doppelgänger. “Your caring beautiful spirit is your biggest asset and it couldn’t make me more proud as your mom. I love you Harper. More than I could ever put into words.”
In the accompanying photo, Harper sits in the family’s yard wearing a party hat and holding water balloons. She flashes a big grin and, sure, you can see hints of her dad, Thiessen’s husband Brady Smith. But, mostly, Harper looks like a little Kelly Kapowski in the making.
And Harper’s similarities to Thiessen don’t stop there — the little girl has clearly inherited her mom’s natural charisma in front of the camera. On Sunday, Thiessen and Smith gave their daughter a unique early birthday present: the chance to shave her dad’s beard.
After intro’ing the video, Harper repeats the three rules to remember, saying, “The first one is let the clippers do the work. The second one is Daddy’s face is under all of this. And the third and most important one, have fun.” Yep, she’s super-charming, just like Thiessen!
