UGG® unveils its rain-ready collection, boasting three new statement silhouettes that merge fashion with function.
The fashion sphere has seen a consistent reemergence Y2K silhouettes: mom jeans, moon boots, crop tops, and scrunchies are worn by influencers and celebrities alike, imbued with the unbothered swag of a precocious adolescent on a fruitful budget. UGG®, most notable for its shearling short boot iconized by Hollywood A-lists, has unveiled a new rain-or-shine collection inspired by its Classic Mini and Tasman silhouettes. Following the zeitgeist of 2000s fashion, the Southern California-based lifestyle brand has released three new styles: Drizlita, Drizlita Clear, and Tasman X in an assortment of electric neon colorways.
Drizlita is an ankle-length statement boot equipped with a cozy sheepskin insole lining. Its sister design, the Drizlita Clear, features futuristic, waterproof technology in an entirely sheer upper. UGG® designed customizable sock inserts to pair with the boot, adding a playful, personalized touch to the wear experience. Consumers can choose from various graphic and textural prints, from zebra to leopard fur and solid colors.
Designed from Treadlight by UGG® foam, the Tasman X features a slip-on silhouette and is both featherweight and durable. The removable sock insert coined UGGplush™ is made of TENCEL™ Lyocell and upcycled wool.
The collection is visually spearheaded by performance artist and award-winning dancer Parris Goebel, enlisting her counterparts Taja Riley and Yuliana Maldonado to demonstrate the versatility of each style on the move.
All three styles are currently live on UGG’s official website and are available in flagship stores nationwide.
