Chance the Rapper on Friday dropped off his latest multi-medium visual for “A Bar About a Bar,” which sees Chicago painter Nikko Washington creating the single’s artwork on canvas.

A press release states that Washington’s piece is inspired by “Abar, the First Black Superman’s unorthodox, Afro-futuristic, and surrealist depiction of racial inequality, racial integration and classism in the suburbs of white America,” according to Stereogum.

Elsewhere in the video, which is directed by Chance himself, the rapper works on several writing exercises with Vic Mensa, who he previously collaborated with on last month’s “Wraith (Writing Exercise #3).”

Washington’s painting, which also dons the name “A Bar About a Bar,” will be showing at the Art Institute of Chicago this weekend. “Full circle moment for me,” Washington wrote on Instagram alongside an image of the oil and acrylic on canvas piece.

“A Bar About a Bar” follows Chance’s “Child of God” featuring Moses Sumney, which was released in March and featured artwork by Gabonese painter Naïla Opiangah.
