A woman is terrified of popping the ‘blistery’ bumps hanging below her eyes, in case it leaves her blind.

However, the ‘grapefruit’-like growths are blocking some of her peripheral vision, and she’s now seeking professional medical help.

The patient is sharing her story on Dr Pimple Popper, which sees people across America visiting dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr Sandra Lee for help with their and problems. ‘spots’.

In previous episodes, that’s ranged from a person suffering from ‘maggots’ in their toes to rashes smelling like ‘hot garbage’.

Dr Lee has elsewhere helped patients with a ‘third boob’ behind an armpit, and even a man with 400 tumours across his body.

But now, one patient fears going blind.

In a preview for an upcoming episode, she explains: ‘The one on my right eye feels liquid-filled.’

Her family member adds: ‘It almost looks like a large blister.’

The patient continues: ‘It does have veins around it which kind of scares me.

‘In all honesty, it feels like a big grapefruit hanging off the right side of my eye.

‘The one on my left side looks like a bruise, almost like a blueberry.’

She tearfully says: ‘When I look at anybody or anything, I literally see these bumps out of the corner of my eyes.

‘I can’t see anything out of my peripheral.’

She goes on to explain that when people ask her why she doesn’t pop them, it’s because she’s terrified.

‘One of my major fears is possibly going blind.

‘They’re mystery bumps, I don’t know what it is.

‘The not knowing is just eating away at me, everyday.’

This comes after one lady emotionally explained how she ‘shuts down’ when strangers comment on the symmetrical bumps on her face.

Porscha begins: ‘These bumps are the main things my customers concentrate on.

‘As I’m talking to them slowly, I see their eyes drop.

‘From my eyes they start staring at my bump, and then the conversation leads into, “Is that intentional? Is that body modification?”

‘And that shuts me down.’

Dr Pimple Popper airs on TLC in America.
