Zendaya supports boyfriend Tom Holland as he shares big update

Zendaya threw her support behind boyfriend Tom Holland on Monday when he shared some big news with fans.

Tom, 26, raved about his upcoming anthology series The Crowded Room at the beginning of the week and told his fans he’d never been more excited to share something with them.

Zendaya, also 26, was one of the first to like Spider-Man star Tom’s post confirming The Crowded Room’s start date.

Posting a still from the show, Tom wrote: ‘THE CROWDED ROOM – I promise you this show will not disappoint!

‘We are 7 weeks out from dropping our first three episodes and I have never been more excited to share something with you. BE PART OF THE MYSTERY!’

The loved-up couple met on the set of Spider-Man in 2016 and while they keep their relationship mostly private, the stars do occasionally share insights into their lives together.

They’ve been romantically linked since 2021, when they were spotted sharing a kiss, and have since been inseparable.

As for Tom’s new show, the 10-part series will tackle multiple personality disorder, with Tom playing Billy Milligan, the first person ever acquitted of a crime because of the mental disorder, which is known now as dissociative identity disorder.

According to Deadline, the series will ‘explore the true and inspirational stories of those who have struggled, and learned to successfully live with, mental illness’.

The Crowded Room is written by A Beautiful Mind’s Akiva Goldsman, who also serves as an executive producer, alongside Alexandra Milchan for EMJAG Productions and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer.

Joining Tom in the exciting cast is Amanda Seyfried, who takes on the role of a clinical psychologist named Rya, who balances her career with the commitments of being a single mother.

Emmy Rossum is also part of the star-studded cast and she’ll play Danny’s long-suffering mother Candy.

Meanwhile, Christopher Abbott plays Stan, the lawyer of Danny who also harbours trauma following experiences in the Vietnam War.
