'90 Day Fiancé': A Leaked Casting Call Reveals That There May Be a New Spinoff in the Works

90 Day Fiancé is the gift that keeps on giving. After one series ends, another one begins. Even a pandemic can’t hold 90 Day Fiancé back. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, there have been a number of spinoffs that have filmed in quarantine, including B90 Strikes Back and Self-Quarantined. If Sharp Entertainment, the production company behind 90 Day Fiancé, has their way, we’ll probably be seeing a never-ending cycle of the original show and spinoffs. Now that some production companies are gearing back up to film in real life, Sharp is reportedly sending out casting calls for a new show.

What is the new show about?

The original 90 Day Fiancé featured Americans who had found love with someone from another country. The cameras would follow as the foreign person arrived in America and then the pair prepared to get married within 90 days. The spinoffs all differ a little bit. Before the 90 Days features couples who are meeting up before they have applied or been approved for the K-1 visa, which would allow them to live in the United States together and The Other Way showcases the Americans moving to other countries for love.

According to a leaked casting call, this new show will differ from the others in terms of location.

“I’m working on a project for Sharp Entertainment-the production company behind ’90 Day Fiancé,’” the leaked message said. “We are casting a new show about connecting Carribbean long-distance love from the US to the Carribbean. IDK if you’re dating…”

According to an Instagram post by Fraudedbytlc, this message was sent to a casting prospect for the new show.

Fan reactions to the new show

Though some fans were excited about a new show, some were getting tired of all of the iterations.

“These spinoffs are getting ridiculous,” one person commented on the post. “Losing interest in watching.”

Others wanted more countries represented.

“What about countries from South America that we never hear on the show like Chile?” another person said. “Argentina? Peru? Uruguay? …. like they nobody has a long-distance relationship from there or what.”

And some wondered if past cast members would make an appearance on the new show as well.

“Waiting to find out how Tom or Jesse manage to slime their way into this one,” one person wrote.

Which spinoff is next?

While B90 Strikes Back and The Other Way are currently airing, there is another spinoff that’s already on the roster. Darcey & Stacey is set to premiere in August. The show will follow sisters Darcey and Stacey Silva as Stacey prepares to bring her boyfriend over to America on a K-1 visa and Darcey looks for love. Darcey appeared on three seasons of Before the 90 Days and has yet to find her happily ever after.

“I’m really super excited about the new show and very grateful to TLC,” Darcey told Entertainment Weekly. “I’ve had a long journey with relationships and now that I’ve fully concluded my Jessie and Tom stories, I am finally excited about what the future holds. I am at a stage in my life where I am happy with my life and I’m staying strong for me and my daughters and my family. And I’m so excited to dive deeper into our family life on the new show, past, present, and future.”
