Andy Cohen jumped to Meghan Markle’s defense after it was claimed that she didn’t conduct her own interviews on her newly-axed podcast, “Archetypes.”

The “Watch What Happens Live” host, 55, who appeared as a guest on the Duchess of Sussex’s Spotify project in 2022, called the rumor “insane.”

“Of course, I [spoke with Markle], And she definitely [interviewed me]. That’s an insane rumor,” the Bravo honcho told Us Weekly Wednesday.

“Her podcast is conversations with people. How would she not have, of course she did.”

While he didn’t mention the publication by name, PodNews this week claimed that some of the exiled royal’s sit-down interviews were actually conducted by her staffers.

The baseless claim added that Markle’s voice was edited into the episode at a later time.

Brushing the rumor off, Cohen said the “Suits” alum, 41, was “quite well-researched,” “well-informed,” and “thoughtful” during their 2022 conversation.

During their chat, the pair discussed Bravo’s triumphant “Housewives” franchise, especially after Markle admitted she was interested in appearing on the show during her appearance on “WWHL” over a decade ago.

“Everyone is like: ‘Oh, she should join the Beverly Hills housewives,’” Cohen said on “Archetypes.” “And I’m like: ‘She ain’t joining the Beverly Hills housewives, everybody. That’s not happening. She’s Meghan Markle.’”

In the early 2010s, Bravo passed on having Markle appear in the show — a decision that had left Cohen kicking himself, calling it “the biggest blunder in the 13 years of the show.”

In response, the mom of two said that she had “never heard” this rumor.

She runaway royal added that there “will be no reality show” about her life, despite previously releasing a bombshell 6-part Netflix documentary.

Last week, Spotify announced that it has parted ways with Markle’s podcast.

In a joint statement to The Post, Spotify and the royals’ Archewell Audio said they have “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”

The Sussexes signed a $20 million-plus deal between their Archewell Audio and the streaming giant in 2020.

There were just 12 episodes of “Archetypes,” which featured guests like Serena Williams, Mariah Carey and Paris Hilton.

Cohen, Trevor Noah and Judd Apatow appeared in the final “Archetypes” episode, “Man-ifesting A Cultural Shift,” which dropped on Nov. 29.

Spotify announced this month it will cut 200 jobs as it reimagines its approach to podcasting.
