Angela Simmons has had some setbacks in her love life, but she still hopes to get married someday.
The “Growing Up Hip Hop” star broke off her engagement to the late Sutton Tennyson, and there are rumors that she’s split from her latest beau Daniel Jacobs.
“When God is ready I’ll definitely be walking down the aisle one day,” she told Page Six.
Simmons, who has a three-year-old with Tennyson, said she’d also like to have more children “one day.”
But she told us it can be tricky to find a “real” partner.
“Like, anyone you meet, you find out what they are about. You can’t super-guess what their intentions are. I just base it off of energy and how I feel about the person,” she said.
“I do believe people reveal themselves over time.”
“I think if someone’s doing something for the wrong intentions or reasons it’s always on the surface and it will show itself,” she added. “But I don’t worry too much about that. If I’m in a relationship and I’m in love and I’m happy and they are happy and it makes sense I’m not gonna run from it either. You know people are always telling on themselves if they’re not gonna be real.”
Previously, Simmons told Page Six that anyone she dated “would have to have certain qualities. He has to definitely be a family man, God-fearing, funny, established, it’s a long list.”
Tennyson was fatally shot in Atlanta in 2018. Simmons and Tennyson split earlier that year.
“Growing Up Hip Hop” airs Thursday’s at 9pm.
