Asda is now selling Lotus Biscoff ice cream with brownie pieces

LOTUS Biscoff now does an ice cream filled with brownie pieces – and you can buy it in Asda.

The tasty-looking treat features crunchy chunks of Lotus Biscoff biscuit combined with helpings of chocolate brownie.

It was first spotted in stores by the blogger behind the food Instagram page NewFoodsUK.

They told The Sun they managed to pick up a 460ml tub in store for £3.

The new find has already caused a stir online with shoppers desperate to get their hands on the new ice cream.

Responding to the original post by NewFoodsUK, one person said: "We need to try this one."

Another shopper said: "I went there few hours ago didn't even go ice cream aisle – wish I did now."

A third said: "Ummm we need to look out for this."

Asda confirmed to The Sun that the chocolate brownie Lotus Biscoff ice cream is in stores now.

Sadly, we couldn’t see it being sold on the Asda website.

It’s also not available on Morrisons, Tesco or Sainsbury’s online.

Lotus Biscoff also does a plain tub of ice cream, minus the brownie pieces but with pieces of biscuit and swirls of Biscoff spread.

You can buy a 460ml tub of this for £3.80 in Morrisons – this version is 80p dearer than what you’ll find in Asda.

The supermarket also has packs of Lotus Biscoff ice cream sticks, costing £3.80 for a pack of three.

Asda doesn’t appear to sell either of these products.

If you're watching your waistline during lockdown, you'll want to know that the Lotus Biscoff ice cream with brownies contains 287 calories per 100g, compared to 297 calories in the original ice cream.

In the UK, the average man shouldn't consume more than 2,500 calories a day, while it's 2,000 for women.

Lotus Biscoff now does THREE different flavour biscuits – and you can buy them in Tesco.

A couple of months ago, Asda and Poundland started selling Lotus biscuits covered in chocolate.

If you're looking to save some cash, Lidl shoppers reckon the supermarket's 65p biscuits tastes just the same as Lotus Biscoff.
