A plus size model is engaged to a man who is half her height – and she is adamant that “size doesn’t matter”.

Eudoxie Yao, from the Ivory Coast, says her relationship with diminutive Guinean musician Grand P is going well.

On Instagram, she wrote: “We are happy together, and this is the most important thing.

“Thank you, everyone, for your support. The physical does not count in a relationship.”

Hundreds of fans liked the post, with some branding the pair a "cute couple".

But while Eudoxie and Grand P's relationship seems to be a happy one, it has gone through rough patches in the past.

Just last week, Eudoxie told her partner off for playing the field.

She wrote: “My fiancee Grand P, you claim you want me as your wife, but it is always you who kisses your fans on the mouth.

“At this rate, my parents may refuse the marriage.

“Pull yourself together because I know you love me.”

Grand P, whose real name is Moussa Sandiana Kaba, doesn’t seem to be fazed by the accusations.

The musician was born with progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder that has affected his physical stature.

He looks a lot different to curvy bombshell, which is why some have questioned their match.

Some critics believe he is in a relationship with Eudoxie for a publicity stunt, which the pair denies.

But if they are in it for the publicity, their plans have definitely worked.

The pair are often swarmed by photographers when they are out and about together.
