Demi Lovato announced as Super Bowl 2020 national anthem singer

Demi Lovato is getting really good at this Instagram shock-drop routine.

Two days after announcing her return to live singing on Grammys 2020, the “Sober” singer casually revealed Thursday morning that she’s also set to belt out the national anthem on Super Bowl 2020.

Lovato, 27, shared the news with her 76.2 million Insta followers with this caption: “Singing the National Anthem at #SBLIV ? ? ? See you in Miami ? @NFL.”

Super Bowl LIV is set to kick off Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox. Pop superstars Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are set to share the half-time performance stage.

Earlier this week, Lovato revealed she was returning to the stage with a performance Jan. 26 at the 2020 Grammy Awards on CBS, marking the first time she’s performed live since her overdose in 2018. (Unless you count a karaoke performance captured on cellphones in December.)

“I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing,” Lovato posted around noon Tuesday. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer added a Grammys hashtag and tagged CBS and the Recording Academy for good measure.

Her comment — which racked up more than 1.6 million likes — was a flashback to Dec. 4 when she posted an all-black image captioned, “The next time you hear from me, I’ll be singing….”

Lovato has been open about her ongoing mental-health issues and addiction battle and rehab stint. She also recently ended her relationship with model boyfriend Austin Wilson.

“She’s concentrating on herself and her work right now, as well as focusing on her relationship with God,” a source told People at the time. “She’s excited for what this next chapter in 2020 will bring.”

Lovato’s reps did not immediately return The Post’s request for comment but, apparently, she is ready to get back to work.
