Disneyland Paris' advert – Santa explains how the magical park became part of Christmas magic

DISNEYLAND Paris' first ever Christmas "film" has landed, explaining how the park became the heart of the magic of Christmas.

The 60 second film is an expanded version of the advert, which premiered on TV last night.

It shows how many years ago Santa perfected the formula for the magic of Christmas, creating “The Elixir”.

The potion is so extraordinary that even a single drop has astonishing powers to create Christmas magic.

Santa then entrusts his best elf with a mission to sprinkle the elixir all around the world – spreading Christmas magic.

Unfortunately, the mischievous elf became captivated by the magic potion, and started taking s-elfies in Santa's magic sleigh.

Totally distracted, the elf tumbled out of the sleigh, but her fall was broken by a huge pile of soft, white snow.

But the bottle of magic elixir cracked and the liquid seeped away into the ice.

Fortunately, all was not lost as the Christmas magic transformed the town below into the ultimate Christmas destination, Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland's Christmas period begins from tomorrow, November 9 and runs for almost two months ending on January 6 2020.

Each night, you can see the fir tree illumination ceremony where Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Santa Claus will all light up a 24 feet tall Christmas tree.

There will also be a nightly fairy ball, held by Aurora and attended by Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel and Tiana as well as their princes.

The traditional Disney Christmas Parade will also make a comeback on the Parade Route for two performances a day.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy will open the procession, which will also include everyone from Winnie the Pooh and his Friends to the Three Little Pigs.

Of course, Santa will close the Disney Christmas Parade in style from his sleigh.

Santa Claus will also welcome visitors to meet Mickey Mouse, in a specially dedicated box up to and including December 25th.

Finally, visitors will be able to take part in the magic of Christmas as soon as the park opens with the return of the Enchanted Advent Calendar at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Every day, new surprises will be unveiled with Mickey, Minnie or Goofy all taking part.
