Dogs working from home: All the best pics and memes online of your dogs working from home

Working from home can be a struggle for some, without colleagues to keep you company, a change to work schedule and distractions. However, some are keeping themselves entertained with a different type of colleague – their pets.

With the request to socially distance ourselves in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, more of us are working from home and this has thrown up some challenges.

Whether it’s shoddily fashioning a desk with garden furniture (guilty), working all day in pyjamas or setting up an office in bed – working from home can be a blessing and a curse.

The commute has been cut down to zero, your home comforts are within reach and (unless you have a video meeting) there’s no need to don the office attire.

Another blessing is the bonus time you can spend with your pet, and their reaction to you working from home can make for some amazing pictures.

Some are finding their furry friends intruding on their work-life in hilarious ways.

This can be jumping up on your chair when you stand up, demanding to be on your lap, appearing in video meetings or walking across your equipment.

Now, home workers have shared the delights – and trials – of working at home with a pet.

A quick search of ‘dogs working from home’ on Twitter brings up a plethora of funny images and memes.

Dogs can be seen sat at desks, wearing headsets and generally demanding attention from their owners.

Some are even wearing outfits to fit in with the home-work environment.

One Twitter user uploaded a picture of her pooch laying next to her on the sofa and wrote: “working from home means learning to type with one hand so I can pet my dogs with the other”.

Another added an image of their four-legged-friend wearing a headset and said: “Day 2 of working from home – Telling my dog he’s my secretary and will now be taking calls”.

One Twitter user uploaded a picture of a cat wearing an adorable tie and shirt collar and said: “Little bro is working from home and wanted his cat to look more “professional” when he appeared in the webcam during team (video) meetings so he bought him a set of ties. #QuarantineCats”

Another shared the trials of working with a cat in close proximity and said: “Day 2 of working from home: my cat has turned off my laptop”.

And in true cat style, one owner shared an image of her furry friend sat on her office chair and wrote: “Because of #COVID19, BF and I are both working from home, which is not the norm.

“Cat is reminding us whose office really it is.”
