A grandmother was left horrified when a stranger tried to kiss her two-year-old granddaughter and told her he 'would love to take her to bed'.
Samantha Genter said her daughter Katie, 25, was taking her child Peighton, two, to a nursery school in Bransholme when they met a man who allegedly told the little girl 'give me a kiss' and 'I'd love to take her to bed'.
Mum Katie was shocked and started screaming before the man's female friend ushered him away.
Humberside Police was alerted of the incident and say they treat cases of this nature 'incredibly seriously' but no offence took place, according to Hull Live .
Samantha said: "My daughter Katie was walking with her two-year-old daughter Peighton to nursery school near her home on Monday lunchtime when she was accosted by a man.
"My daughter Katie shouted at the man to get off her. He laughed and said he would love to take the baby to bed. She was furious and carried her, now screaming, daughter away from this man.
"She was pushing a dolls pram at the time. He said he'd love to take her to bed. My granddaughter was hysterical."
