This week, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Harry andMeghan will not be spending Christmas with Her Majesty at Sandringham. Thestatement did not reveal any details about their trip to America, but it didsay that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending the holiday with hermother.
Prince William has not said anything about Harry’s Christmas plans, though an inside source claims that he is going to miss his younger brother. That said, the source noted that William is relieved that Harry is getting a break from the royal spotlight and believes the two need to spend some quality time alone.
“William and [his wife] Kate [Middleton] aresomewhat relieved that they won’t be at Sandringham,” the sourceexplained. “Prince William does, however, feel that it’ll be strange nothaving his brother around.”
According to FoxNews, this is only the second time Harry has missed Christmas atSandringham. The first time he missed out on the festivities was when he wasdeployed in Afghanistan.
When Harry and Meghan were still dating, they both were invitedto Sandringham for Christmas. This was an unusual move as people usually do notget invited to spend Christmas with Her Majesty until they are officially partof the family.

Although they kind of get a break at Sandringham, being with therest of the royals and worrying about the Christmas Day events can be a bitnerve-wracking.
“Sandringham is always fun, but it can also be quite stressfuland very formal,” the insider stated. “This Christmas will be low-keyand informal.”
The source added that Meghan and Harry both need a good rebootafter all the drama they have faced in recent weeks. The couple, along withtheir baby boy, Archie Harrison, is expected to remain in the United Statesthrough Christmas, which should give them ample time to recharge.
