Though no celebrity couple can ever really silence the “trouble in paradise” rumors once they begin, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake seem to be ignoring them with ease.
About two months following Timberlake’s hand-holding scandal with co-star Alisha Wainwright, he and Biel appear to be in the thick of a “my marriage is solid” press tour of sorts, and it’s moved into the sartorial coordination phase.
The singer showed his support for his actress/producer wife on Monday evening when the pair attended the season 3 premiere of USA Network anthology crime series The Sinner. Biel starred in the show’s first season and has acted as executive producer for the subsequent seasons.
Timberlake and Biel arrived at the West Hollywood event in complementary blazers — i.e. they both opted for plaid. Biel’s black and white jacket took a more obvious Clueless-esque approach to the trend, while Timberlake’s navy blazer bore a barely visible pattern. The Golden Globe nominated-actress paired her retro blazer with a black pencil skirt, white blouse, classic black pumps, and a bold orange-red lip.
Just days ago, Timberlake celebrated his 39th birthday, an occasion Biel commemorated with an Instagram tribute to the “most timeless man I know.”
