Kelly Ripa has been showing off her sense of style ever since she was a child, if a recent throwback photo she shared is any indication.
On Thursday (April 9), Ripa took to Instagram to share a cute snap of her with her mother Esther, as the pair donned outfits that complemented each other.
In the photo, the pair were dolled up and ready for Easter Sunday, posing in front of a window presumably getting ready to head to church. Little Ripa was clad in a frilly white dress with pale yellow ribbons and buttons that matched her mother's creamy custard suit, paired with a white blouse underneath.
"#tbt circa 1975-ish," Ripa wrote alongside her photo. "A reminder you can still dress up for ZOOM church. Notice how mom coordinated her suit to my bunny/bonnet/dress."
Zoom church isn't a bad idea, though it's unclear if Ripa has been holding any or hanging out in any sessions herself. However, she has been self-isolating in her home with husband Mark Consuelos and their three children, but it's still been difficult for her to cope with the way things have been going.
"I’m not going to lie, okay? I’m going to let you in on a little secret: I’m currently not speaking to two of my three kids. I’m not talking to two of them," Ripa tearfully confessed to Ryan Seacrest on a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan. "Just because, we’re all in the same boat together, right?" She spoke about how difficult it's been to not be able to hug her parents or have her children hug her.
"I haven’t gotten to hug my parents. I want to hug my parents. I miss hugging my parents," she said. "And my kids, like, won’t hug me. And I’m like, ‘Guys, we’ve all been in lockdown together. We’re fine. You can give me a hug. It’s fine.’"
After letting all of that out, it's pretty clear what Ripa will be doing once this period of social distancing is over: hugging her entire family tight.
