Fans won’t have to wait until the final season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” premieres to find out about Kim Kardashian’s “challenging” year.
Kardashian sat down for Monday’s episode of “Good Morning Vogue” and confessed how difficult this past year has been — with her highly public split from husband Kanye West as well as the coronavirus pandemic.
When asked about life starting to return to normal after the pandemic, Kardashian said: “I think this year has been challenging for so many people but I also think that this year was a huge cleanse and just a huge opportunity for people to really be grateful for the simple things and that is a huge — I think awakening that some people had.”
She further said, “I always try to look at things in a positive way. Even though it has been such a challenging year, it’s a time to regenerate, get creative, spend so much time with family and just this time I’ve been able to spend with my children has been priceless. That part has been so beautiful.”
Kardashian didn’t specifically mention her split from West — nor was she asked about it.
Kardashian, 40, filed for divorce from West, 43, in February. The couple tied the knot in 2014 after a whirlwind romance and have four children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 1.
Page Six exclusively reported last week that the couple is no longer speaking despite their co-parenting situation as Kardashian discusses matters through West’s security team.
Their marital issues will be featured on Season 20 of “KUWTK,” premiering Thursday on E!.
