We might be seeing less of Kim Kardashian West in the years to come.
The reality star, 39, said she’s considering honoring husband Kanye West’s wishes for her to dress less sexy now that she’s getting older.
“He is my husband so I obviously want to honor him and what he’s feeling and he’s been going through this life change,” Kardashian said in response to the rapper’s ire on “The Real.”
“It’s mostly about the kids. The kids are getting older and he’s very conscious about what we have in the house. We got ride of TV in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from North’s room.”
Indeed, the beauty mogul confirmed that eldest daughter North West, 6, is no longer allowed to wear makeup — but that she has since become “fascinated” with skincare.
The couple got into a fight about Kardashian’s image in a recent episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” filmed before the Met Gala, to which she wore an extreme corset by Thierry Mugler. West told her that the sexy look hurt his soul now that he is tapping into his spiritual side with Sunday Service concerts and his new gospel-laced album, “Jesus is King.”
“You built me up to be this sexy person and confidence and all this, and just because you’re on a journey and transformation doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you,” she snapped back.
But Kardashian promised that while she wants to appease her husband, she isn’t going to just give up her bombshell persona right away. “I actually agree with it, but I’m always going to be me. We were having this conversation of just, what is too much? And I am a mother of four and I am going to be 40 next year. When is it time to stop?”
