Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica’ Is Finally Here—And People Are Loving It

The wait is finally over. Lady Gaga's sixth studio album and her first in nearly four years, Chromatica, is here as of midnight on May 29. It was originally supposed to be released on April 10, but Gaga chose to push the date back due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fans had already gotten a taste of what kind of record Chromatica was shaping up to be with singles like "Stupid Love," "Rain on Me" with Ariana Grande, and "Sour Candy" with BlackPink—and that taste was all about dancing it out with pop songs that just make you wish you could be at a club with all your friends.

The rest of the album did not disappoint. USA Today wrote in their review, "Gaga delivers an album's worth of four-to-the-floor anthems that are begging to be played at festivals and gay clubs whenever it is safe again to do so," and we truly can't disagree.

Lady Gaga fans, aka the Little Monsters, are rightfully freaking out about Chromatica all over social media. "Just finished my first listen of #Chromatica and I'm truly blown away. This is @ladygaga's most cohesive body of work yet," one fan tweeted. "Every song tells a story and the flow is simply incredible. The album pulls you right in and makes you want to forget everything and dance all night long."

"Chromatica is a very strong album with a lot of club bangers. There's not a single bad song on it, not one, every song is solid and has it's own thing. If you want to have a party then this is the perfect album for you," another wrote.

And, of course, there are memes and reaction GIFs galore.

The transition from the song "Chromatica II" into "911" is also creating a lot of Twitter buzz. Note: It is pretty freaking fantastic when that beat drops in.

May your virtual dance parties be filled with many Chromatica tunes this weekend.
