STUDENTS heading to university, college or sixth form this month may need new tech to help with their studies.
Buying a new laptop or computer isn’t cheap but many brands offer special deals.
So here are the offers that budding undergraduates need to know about . . .
ARGOS: Buy selected Chromebooks at Argos and get a Sainsbury’s giftcard worth up to £40 — perfect for that first food shop away from home.
The retailer is also offering up to £60 off selected Samsung tablets, as well as 25 per cent off Apple pencils.
MICROSOFT: Students and their parents can get up to ten per cent off laptops through the online Microsoft store.

The brand also has savings of up to £130 on the Surface Laptop Go 2, as well as £500 off the Surface Pro 9.
DELL: Until September 27, students can get 15 per cent off XPS laptops and U-Series monitors, and ten per cent of Alienware monitors.
Get the coupon discount by signing up with your academic email through Dell’s website.
HP: There’s up to 15 per cent off laptops and desktops, plus an up to ten per cent reduction on printers for students.

The discounts are direct from HP online and are open to sixth form, college and university students.
You need to become a member of HP’s student store to get the deals by signing up with your student email address.
APPLE: Apple is offering lowered prices for uni students, and a gift card up to £130 with items bought through its website or stores.
Under the discounts you can save around £100 on a 13in MacBook Air with an M2 chip, with prices starting from £1,049.
Prices for a 13in MacBook Pro laptop start from £1,249, normally £1,349.
For the discount, you’ll need to be verified by student discount scheme UniDays, which all university, sixth-form and college students can join.
