Matt Barnett, who goes exclusively by his last name on the new Netflix reality show Love is Blind, is already turning out to be quite the charmer. (Who knew ukuleles had that kind of power, amirite?) Among the 30 competitors, he got off to a quick start and connected with three women, Amber Pike, Lauren Chamblin (LC), and Jessica Batten.
In case you need a lil recap, Love is Blind is basically a mix of Netflix’s hit reality TV show The Circle, TLC’s Married At First Sight, and ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise. The premise: 15 women and 15 men go live in separate wings of the same house and can only communicate with each other from windowless pods over the course of 10 days. If any duos develop a strong enough romantic connection, they get engaged sight unseen. Then, the newly engaged couples finally get to meet IRL and leave the house together to go on a vacation in Mexico. The couples then have four weeks together in the real world before getting married.
