Marlo Hampton isn’t rushing to the nail salon amid COVID-19 re-openings

Marlo Hampton is not taking any risks.

Even though Atlanta has re-opened amid the coronavirus pandemic — and former co-star Kim Zolciak Biermann, as well as daughters Brielle and Ariana, have rushed to get their hair, nails and Botox done — “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Marlo Hampton has made a vow not to visit the salon until July.

“I’m not comfortable yet to go to any nail salon or hair salon and sit up in there,” Hampton, 44, told Page Six Style, adding that she has someone come to her house to braid her hair, but limits the amount of visitors. “I will be comfortable maybe around July; I want to see the numbers first. Let’s see what the CDC is saying and what the news is sharing with us because we’re not really seeing everything. We still don’t know what’s going on.”

She added, “I can only tell you is that lotta people are dying so we have to be careful.”

As for how she’s maintaining her hair and skincare routine, “I moisturize I love Revision Skincare and I’m using vitamin E oil,” Hampton says. “My hair situation is great braids, braids, braids and some hair oil. I bought some Wild Growth Oil to put on these edges and my scalp.”

Hampton, who recorded a PSA for Black Lives Matter, is not only taking time for self care, but also treating herself. “Water and a cocktail a day is my choice of hydration,” she says. “Anything sweet will do; champagne, a little pineapple juice or tequila or vodka with something sweet in it.”
