Meghan Markle's redesigned engagement ring now looks very similar to the one her ex-husband gave her, royalists claim.
Duchess of Sussex, 37, replaced the gold pave band with diamonds last month in a huge restyle.
But the royal was slammed for doing so as Prince Harry had used two diamonds from his mum Princess Diana 's collection and one from Botswana, where he does a lot of charity work, to make the ring.
Now eagle-eyed fans have noticed the resemblance the ring has to the one Trevor Engelson gave Meghan in 2010.
The film producer's rock featured a diamond band and had a large diamond set in the centre.
People on Twitter have been quick to point this out.
"(She) has redesigned her ring to look like the one Trevor gave her!!! How embarrassing for Haz," one person wrote.
Another added: "Meghan new added bling looks strikingly similar to her engagement ring from Trevor.”
"Meghan's new ring looks just like the one her ex-husband, Trevor, gave her!" said a third.
But some defended the new mum, originally from Los Angeles, California.
One wrote: "Meghan isn’t wearing Diana’s ring. Harry designed Meghan’s ring using some of Diana’s diamonds plus a larger diamond from Botswana. Harry later re-designed ring and added another band . Who the hell are these people to comment on someone else’s momma’s jewels anyway."
Another said: "Diana altered jewelry all the time! She turned a historic, big, sapphire pin, into a pretty necklace. It looked great as does Meghan’s ring. They need to get out of Meghan’s business!"
Meghan's marriage with Mr Engelson lasted just two years. They divorced in August 2013 after "irreconcilable differences".
Her 42-year-old ex since remarried a dietitian, in the same month Meghan wed Harry.
The 34-year-old prince popped the question in November 2017.
But since Meghan resigned the rock, its value is estimated to have increased significantly.
It's now worth more than £122,000.
