Miley Cyrus can’t be tamed.
After her cameo on the catwalk during Marc Jacobs’ NYFW show on Wednesday, the 27-year-old pop star had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction when her tiny striped crop top swung open, revealing her left nipple to the waiting paparazzi.
In true Miley fashion, the musician embraced the candid fashion moment by sharing it with her 104 million Instagram followers.
“Swipe right. But hurry. Instagram will definitely be removing this post soon,” Cyrus captioned a trio of shots of her outside her hotel, the last of which features her nip slip.
Plenty of fashion figures applauded the star’s cheeky post — including Helena Christensen, Derek Blasberg and Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele — as did Cyrus’ fans. “You’re just too hot for cold New York,” one wrote, while another chimed in with, “I will sue instagram if they delete this post because you are empowering women to be comfortable with their bodies.”
Several followers critiqued Cyrus’ NSFW share. “Young girls are looking up to you and don’t think showing your nipples is ok. Be better, seriously you have an awesome gift of voice and so many other things, showing your tits for young ones to aspire to is not,” one person commented.
“If you want to show your whole body to the world, well stop wearing clothes. Ever think about teenagers who will copy your stupid acts?” another asked.
