A mum who accidentally flashed her bum at parents and children after taking a tumble during her daughter's sports day claims she's no longer embarrassed by the incident.
Katie Hannaford, 36, faceplanted the ground during a parent's race after her eight-year-old convinced her to take part on June 15.
Hilarious footage of the incident showed how things went from bad to worse for the mum, from Basildon in Essex, as the skirt of her blue dress came up to expose her bum and black thong.

But the mum quickly got over her embarrassment and said that you have to "own" your blunders.
She said: "I'm not sporty at all, but [my daughter] kept begging me. In the end I agreed to the race – I knew I'd come last. I just tripped over my own feet. I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs!
"I'm so clumsy, I'm always falling over. I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is! I flashed my underwear which is obviously embarrassing but you just have to own it.
"Looking back, it's hilarious – definitely the funniest thing I've ever done in my life!"
Which is exactly what she did as she posted the video to Facebook herself, encouraging others to be able to laugh at themselves.
On the post, which has raked in more than 4,000 likes, she wrote: "When the kids got more at sports day than they were expecting! Haha.
"If you can’t laugh at yourself then what’s life about ay! Sorry, kiddos and anyone else watching!"

Other parents took to the comment section praising the mum for having the confidence to see the funny side as one user wrote: "Fair play to laugh it off! If I’d done that it would have been an eclipse x"
Another added: "Might be a few more dads going to pick their kids up lol but on the serious side at least you can laugh about it."
A third said: "You have given the world so much joy!!! Being a parent is the best!"
