Just in case you thought the coronavirus #stayathome challenge couldn’t get any grosser, bored isolationists are now posting TikTok videos of themselves wetting their own pants.
The #peeyourpantschallenge hashtag currently boasts 3.9 million views on TikTok, with dozens of clout-chasing chuckleheads heeding nature’s call on camera to keep entertained amid lockdown.
In the original clip posted April 21, 19-year-old comedian Liam Weyer can be seen in front of a mirror nonchalantly announcing the perverse prank’s name before a revolting trickling sound can be heard in the background, followed by a wet spot appearing on the front of his sweatpants.
Weyer, who reposted the video after it was taken yanked from TikTok, told The Insider, “I am surprised to see that people on the internet will pee themselves if you call it a challenge and add a hashtag.”

Needless to say, his viral video leak spawned hordes of imitators. One of the more popular clips, which currently holds almost 70,000 likes and 2 million on TikTok, shows a urine-enthusiast guffawing hysterically and then subsequently moaning as the dirtiness of his deed dawns on him.

In another, a social-media bozo can be seen wetting his sweatpants in the tub after being prompted by a recording of Weyer’s voice from the original #peeyourpantschallenge video.

Fortunately, it seems the social-media legions are none too amused by the sophomoric stunt. “Don’t worry, there’s still time to delete this,” commented one revolted TikToker on the above vid.
“Might as well [eat] a Tide Pod at the end for the finishing touch,” snarked another.
“People seriously need to get back to work soon . . . everybody has gone insane,” commented one on Liam Weyer’s flagship video.
However, the internet personality has since claimed that he was simply “taking the piss” with the #peeyourpantschallenge.
“I am definitely surprised that the challenge actually became a trend,” Weyer told Insider, adding that the prank was intended to poke fun at how pointless viral internet challenges are.
Antisocial commentary or not, it seems TikTok could use a diuretic. This past March, a woman licked an airplane toilet seat for clicks while TikTok’s “poop challenge” proved that one week is the exact point at which people go insane during isolation.
