Stacey Solomon has revealed that she and fiancé Joe Swash are still struggling to find the perfect name for their adorable daughter.
The mum-of-four, who announced that she had given birth to her first daughter this week, on her 32nd birthday, described how the couple were spending the day 'getting the baby name books out' to find a moniker for the newborn.
Stacey, who has collaborated with In the Style for a gorgeous clothing collection, could be looking at Bella or Naomi for her little girl after the monikers were ranked as the most popular fashion-inspired names in the UK.
Bella, after supermodel and influencer Bella Hadid, ranked as the most popular girls name from the fashion industry, beating out all the other fashion-inspired names such as Stella, Kendall, Gigi and Donatella.
Meanwhile Anna came in second place after American Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour, 71, who was also the chairman of the MET Gala.
Naomi ranked in third position and has seen a sharp rise in searches since British supermodel Naomi Campbell announced the birth of her baby girl in May.
The pretty name, which means ‘sweetness and delightful’, saw a dip in popularity in the eighties according to ONS figures, however since 1992 the name’s popularity has only ever risen, correlating with Naomi Campbell’s rise to supermodel fame.
Elsewhere the top ten fashion-inspired names also featured Kaia and Kendall at both ninth and tenth respectively, according to research carried out by CasinoScores.com.
Taken from models Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford’s daughter, and Kendall Jenner, the highest-paid model in the world in 2020, the new generation of models could provide some inspiration for Stacey and Joe.
The name Kaia has seen a dramatic 33 percent jump in popularity since 2018 when Kaia Gerber made her first runway appearance.
A spokesperson for CasinoScores commented: “Lockdown has led to a rise in fashion sales thanks to online buying so it is interesting to see how influential the fashion industry is on what people choose to name their children."
It comes after the star posted a snap to her Instagram story of her baby girl's feet today and captioned it: "Good morning. Toes up from pickle this morning…. She's got mummy's toes I've never felt so proud.
"All of the boys are in school today. So Joe and me are going to spend the day getting the baby name books out and hopefully find out what her name is. Any ideas welcome…. I love hearing ideas for names, my mind is completely blank.
"Hope you have the best day. Lots of love from us."
