THOUSANDS more drivers joined a fuel protest aiming to jam roads this summer.
Fuel Price Stand Against Tax says support for its army of 50,000 ordinary people is rising after Monday’s blockades.
Its leader, delivery driver Ashley Fowler, 24, last night hit back at Priti Patel’s threats to use new police powers to arrest campaigners.
Warning of a July 22 demo causing gridlock in London, Mr Fowler said: “It’s people power.
"You can’t arrest us all.
He added the group’s activists are prepared to bring motorways across the country to a standstill if the government does not help slash fuel prices.

Ashley told The Sun: "We're prepared to bring the country to a standstill to make our point 100%.
"If we don't do anything then nothing will happen.
