Towie stars land fourth series of hit TV show after emotional third season | The Sun

TOWIE stars Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet are set to return to telly screens with a brand new series of their reality show Baby Steps.

The couple have opened their doors once more and are giving fans another peak at their relationship and lives as parents to their toddler son Brody.

This series will also be particularly hard-hitting, as it follows Georgia and Tommy's recent experience of dealing with a heartbreaking miscarriage.

The couple had begun sharing the news of Georgia's pregnancy with loved ones when they suffered early complications.

Georgia and Tommy let the cameras in as numerous tests and scans were performed on their unborn child, before they were given the devastating news at their 12 week scan that their baby had died.

Touching upon the couple's brave decision to speak about their experience for their show, Lime Pictures' director of programming, Rebecca Kenny-Smith, said: “We want to express our sincere gratitude to Georgia and Tommy for their trust in allowing us to share their deeply personal and emotional journey with viewers that will undoubtedly touch many hearts.

"This series promises to be an authentic and unfiltered portrayal of their experiences, and we are honoured to have the opportunity to bring their story to light with sensitivity and care."

Georgia, 31, and Tommy, 30, began their romance in 2014 while filming The Only Way Is Essex together.

After discovering they were expecting their first baby in 2020, ITV offered them their own spin-off show, Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps.

The cameras followed Georgia throughout her pregnancy and right up until the birth of their son Brody.

Georgia and Tommy have filmed a further two series of Baby Steps since then, with the cameras capturing their romantic engagement in Mexico.

During the most recent series, however, things took a turn for the worst and their relationship reached breaking point.

Tommy was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and Georgia issued him with an ultimatum to seek help.

The luxury trainer designer did exactly as his fiancée asked and they were able to start rebuilding their life as a couple and family unit.

The new series will see Georgia and Tommy planning their wedding after they finally set a date for 2024.

An ITV spokesperson says: "As series four unfolds, Georgia and Tommy will be gearing up for a jam-packed year ahead.

"With their wedding now set for next year, the couple have a lot of planning to do, but will they be able to handle it all?

"Meanwhile, Brody is growing up fast and is due to start nursery in September, prompting Georgia and Tommy to begin potty training him.

"However, as Brody approaches his ‘terrible twos,’ Georgia finds him to be needier than ever, whilst Tommy’s relationship with him takes a slide as he struggles to balance work and home life.
