“This Is Us” dipped to match its lowest TV rating to date, but still managed to come out on top on Tuesday night.
The NBC drama scored 1.3 rating among adults 18-49, equalling its lowest ever score from episode seven of season four. It drew 6.4 million viewers, even on last week’s tally. Prior to it, “Ellen’s Game of Games,” which was just renewed for a fourth season, ticked up to a 1.0 rating and 4.6 million viewers. “New Amsterdam” was also up a little, scoring a 0.7 and 4.8 million viewers.
Over on ABC, “The Conners” remained steady after its live New Hampshire Primary episode from the week before, coming in even at a 1.1 rating. However, it did lose around 10% of its larger total viewership from last week, drawing 5.5 million this time around. The rest of the Disney-owned network’s lineup was pretty much even week-to-week, expect for freshman drama “For Life,” which dropped off almost 20% from its premiere episode to a 0.6 and 2.6 million viewers. “Black-ish” and its prequel series “Mixed-ish” both came in at a 0.5, while “Bless This Mess” scored a 0.6.
“NCIS” ticked up to a 1.1 rating and delivered 11.8 million viewers for CBS, comfortably the largest numbers on the night. “FBI” and “FBI: Most Wanted” were both boosted by their strong lead-in, gaining ground to a 0.9 rating and 9.2 million viewers, and a 0.7 rating and 6.2 million viewers respectively.
Over on Fox, “The Resident” was even at a 0.7 and 3.8 million viewers, and “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back” came in at a 0.6 and 2.2 million viewers.
Finally on the CW, “The Flash” bounced back up to a 0.4 rating and drew 1.1 million pairs of eyeballs. “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” followed that back with almost identical numbers to last week, posting a 0.2 rating and 735,000 total viewers.
