Wetherspoons is ditching THREE cocktail pitchers – but it’s got six new ones including Kopparberg strawberry delight – The Sun

WETHERSPOONS is ditching three popular cocktail pitchers to make way for six new flavours, including a fruity Kopparberg strawberry delight.

Among the flavours to go include the ultra violet, absolutely cherry and Long Island iced tea.

Instead, customers will be able to get their hands on the Kopparberg delight.

The sugary mix is made with Kopparberg strawberry and lime cider with the brand's same flavour gin.

The jug of booze contains 375 calories and is topped with lemonade and lime.

The new Hawaiian pipeline punch is made with Captain Morgan orginal spiced gold rum and Captain Morgan Tiki.

What are the new cocktails at Wetherspoons?

THESE are the changes Wetherspoons is making to its cocktail range:

New cocktails:

  • Kopparberg strawberry delight
  • Hawaiian pipeline punch
  • Cranberry breeze
  • Rhubarb spritz
  • Might booch
  • Moscow mule

Cocktails it's dropping from the menu:

  • Ultra violet
  • Absolutely cherry
  • Long Island iced tea

It's also finished off with lemonade and lime and can be ordered by the pitcher or larger pitcher.

There will be four new Smirnoff vodka flavoured pitchers too, including the cranberry breeze and rhubarb spritz.

The vodka is mixed with a cranberry juice, lemonade and lime for the former, while Dalston's fizzy rhubarb, lemonade and lime is added to the spirit to make the latter.

The final two newbies are the might booch, which is made with Remedy kombucha raspberry lemonade, soda and lime, and the Moscow mule.

The classic vodka-based cocktail mixes Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, lemonade and lime.

They're available to buy in branches of Wetherspoons now but prices vary depending on where you are.

This is because Wetherspoons pubs are franchised and can set their own prices, although pitchers generally cost around the £6.99 mark.

The new tipples are already available to buy, which means you will have missed the opportunity to celebrate with your last ultra violet.

You can find your nearest Wetherspoons bar here – and even order from your table via the app.

Remember, 'Spoon's pitchers may taste like sweet nectar but they are alcoholic so you should always be careful. You can find more details at DrinkAware.co.uk.

The pub chain recently ditched four other menu items in favour of six new dishes.
