Woman gobsmacked after finding out meaning of ’23-19′ in Monsters, Inc.

A woman has been left gobsmacked after finding out what a message from Monster, Inc. actually means.

Fyiya decided to rewatch Pixar movie, Monsters, Inc. recently and picked up on the unusual “23-19” announcement scene.

In the scene, monster George Anderson comes out of a child’s room with a white sock on his back.

It sparks mass panic among everyone in the building as a worker screams: “We have a 23-19.”

Those two numbers would be meaningless to a young child watching the classic film for the first time.

But Fyiya has won found out 23 and 19 actually have a specific meaning behind them.

In a TikTok video that has been seen more than 400,000 times, she explains: ”The 23rd letter in the alphabet is W and the 19th letter is S.

“Standing for white socks. Yep.”

The footage has, unsurprisingly, left viewers in awe.

“I never put it together so I guess I was today year’s old too,” one wrote.

Another added: “That just blew my mind.”

Other viewers pointed out it wasn’t the only possible meaning behind 23-19.

“It is also the initials of the surnames for Mike and Sulley (Wazowski and Sullivan),” a fan of the show wrote.

And a third said: “2319 is the art room they worked in making the film.”

While someone else agreed, adding: “2319 is in all Pixar movies because it’s the Studio Number that the producers start off in.”

In the past, conspiracists have bizarrely claimed Disney use hidden “sex messages” in some of their biggest films – including the Lion King and the Title Mermaid.
