An Australian woman has revealed how she ‘aged backwards’ after embracing a new skincare routine and undergoing a style overhaul.

Roxy said she looked like a ‘middle aged eastern European mother-of-three’ at 14, but now, aged 30, she looks younger than she did as teenager with glowing skin and trendy clothes.

Sharing side-by-side snaps 16 years apart, Roxy showed herself in dated daggy clothes and untamed curls in the picture from 2007.

Her face is swollen from acne, as she stands in a porcelain store her mother ran.

While in the new picture she has fresh glowing skin while sporting sports gear.

An Australian woman has revealed how she ‘aged backwards’ after ditching a bad diet and walking 10km a day. She is pictured aged 14

‘When I was 14 I looked like a middle aged eastern European mother-of-three, and now at 30 I look younger than I did at 14. How did I age in reverse?’ she wrote sharing the photos to Twitter.

Thousands of people replied asking her secrets, while many shared their shock at the transformation.

‘I had acne and a bad diet and bad hair, which I cut off because I didn’t know how to cope with curly hair,’ she said.

‘Now I walk 10km a day, mostly outside with sunscreen on my face, eat really well and drink two-three litres of water a day.

‘I have good hair and skin care now,’ she added.

‘Sometimes I do Pilates and light weight lifting and I stretch regularly.

‘I don’t run cause my back is a bit iffy. I’m just a habitual walker, I just enjoy wondering around a lot,’ she went on.

She added that she uses La Rouche sunscreen to protect herself from sun damage.

‘This isn’t just a glow up, it’s like a completely different human,’ one person wrote.

‘There is no way. I am aghast,’ added another.

‘Insane what skin care can do,’ said a third.

‘Looks like you could have made a killer mushroom stroganoff at 14,’ commented a fourth.

Others refused to believe that it was her, saying that the photo was of her mother of grandma, but Roxy insisted it was real.

‘Benjamin Button,’ said one.

‘This is witchcraft,’ added another.

‘I feel like the hair style, skin clarity, and a modern camera make all the difference!’ said another.
