It’s fair to say she looked almost unrecognisable as she posed up a storm on the show with Spice Girls Geri Halliwell and Dawn French on the chat show back in 1999.

The blonde bombshell rocked a short brunette bob and opted for a full face of makeup which celebrated her youthful glow with a pinch of blush on the apples of her cheeks and a touch of bronzer on the high points of her face.

She tied the look together with a soft brown eyeshadow which she paired with lashings of black mascara and a swipe of hot pink coral lipstick.

All three girls posed their fingers as a gun while they stood back-to-back around Michael Parkinson who beamed in the middle.

The former Countdown star captioned the post: “Was looking back last night at so many times with Parky, Countdown, cricket ‘dos’, all sorts.

“Pic from Parkinson back in 1999 with Geri Halliwell (freshly out of the Spice Girls) and my idol @Dawn_French …. all looking forward to the new Millenium!”

She finished the look : “Sir Michael Parkinson [white heart emoji]” alongside the memorable picture as her loyal legion of fans showered her with compliments and messages of sympathy online.
