Corries Tina OBrien wows in minidress for birthday as fans floored by real age

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien continued her birthday celebrations on Friday (August 19) with a party with her nearest and dearest.

The actress, best known for playing Sarah Platt on the ITV soap since 1999, turned 40 on August 7 and pulled out all the stops for her lavish gathering.

The soap star put on a leggy display in a metallic minidress teamed with a pair of towering matching heels.

Tina was joined by several of her co-stars, including on-screen brother and daughter Jack P Shephard and Lucy Fallon, who play David and formerly Bethany Platt.

The trio cosied up to Max Turner star Paddy Beaver, as well as Julia Goulding who has played Shona Platt since 2016.

Also in attendance was Abi Franklin actress Sally Carman, with many of the stars documenting parts of their night on Instagram.

Sharing a video dancing alongside Vicky Myers, who's played three different roles on Corrie, the 42-year-old gushed: "What a brilliant night, celebrating the gorgeous, formidable @tinaob83 on her birthday".

Tina shared a selection of photos to mark her birthday as celebrations commenced, including one being presented with a cake alongside her co-stars on the Corrie set.

But fans seemed more distracted by the fact that the mum-of-two had hit 40, with several commenting on her ageless beauty.

"Sorry but you can’t possibly be 40. This is a joke right?," asked one baffled fan.

Another shared: "Happy Birthday Tina. Cannot believe you are the big 40 you look so young and fresh faced," as a third exclaimed: "No way @tinaob83 is 40 she looks so young happy birthday".

Echoing this, a fourth commented: "Hi can't believe u r 40 u still look 21".

While someone else penned: "Happy 40th birthday babe can’t believe it where has the years gone you don’t look over 21".
