Dan Walker offers rare insight into family life in snap about slice of church

Dan Walker has offered fans a rare glimpse inside his family life – after sharing a sweet Sunday snap of his dog Winnie.

The BBC Breakfast presenter, 44, took to Instagram to wish his 269k followers a "lovely Sunday" this weekend.

Religious dad-of-three Dan went out for a visit to the church with his family – calling the trip a "slice of church".

However, he also managed to fit in some time to walk his adorable cockapoo Winnie in the Sheffield sun.

Whilst out and about, dog-walker Dan shared a snap of Winnie standing on a rock in the woods – just in front of an idyllic stream.

Former Strictly star Dan said: "Slice of church with the family and a dog walk in the Sheffield sunshine.

"I hope you’re having a lovely Sunday."

Dan's followers loved his leisurely Sunday snap – and it's fair to say Winnie was quite the hit with the viewers if the comments section is anything to go by.

They now live in Sheffield with their three children – Susanna, Jessica and Chuck.
