Kate Ferdinand slams troll who claimed she was ‘faking’ baby bump problems

Kate Ferdinand has taken to social media to speak out after being trolled by a follower who accused her of faking problems with her blossoming baby bump.

The blonde bombshell took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she needed advice on comfortable nightwear to wear while heavily pregnant.

Kate, 29, admitted that she struggled to find maternity pyjamas that comfortably fitted over her baby bump.

The star who rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex was left infuriated after one of her Instagram followers claimed that she was "faking" having difficulties.

Speaking to her followers in a piece to camera, Kate said: "'Guys I need your help, nothing fits me.

"I just need help with pyjamas you know when you get home and you want to put on some comfortable ones on.

"No, nothing's comfortable because my belly is too big. Can anyone help me?"

Shortly after, one irritated follower sent Kate a direct message voicing their claims.

"Surely you can get maternity pyjamas?

"Seems kind of fake, you must have loads of maternity stuff?!" asked the social media user.

After not hesitating to share a print screen of the message, Kate penned: "I don't normally respond to these people but this really made me laugh.

"I have much better things to be doing with my time than faking that I need PJs

"There are so many negative people out there – bizarre! Thanks for all the lovely women that helped me."

The former reality star is expecting her first child with former Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand after they married last year.

Since tying the knot, Kate became a step-mum to Rio's three children Lorenz 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, who he shared with his late first wife, Rebecca Ellison.

Speaking about her struggles during pregnancy, Kate told Women's Health: "Lockdown has been an experience.

"Obviously, I was pregnant and the children didn't know, and something I’ve struggled with is being pregnant with my first biological child and still being a mum."

She continued: "So, I felt I had all these new experiences… But I was still a stepmother or mother figure to three kids.

"I struggle with my mental health. Being active helps day-to-day with my anxiety, so when I can’t do things, I struggle with it."
