Kerry Katona says assets are straining her back as she opens up on reduction op

Kerry Katona spoke candidly about her reasoning for having breast reduction surgery on Steph's Packed Lunch.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 41, explained that she had consulted with her entire family – including husband-to-be Ryan Mahoney – for support before going under-the-knife.

It wasn't a decision that the mum-of-five made lightly either but after suffering from back pain she decided to learn more about the procedure.

Before surgery, Kerry agreed to film the process with Steph McGovern's Channel 4 daytime team and later joined the show to chat about her recovery process.

In the VT Kerry is sat with her personal trainer boyfriend discussing the operation.

Speaking to camera she said: "As much as I love having bigger boobs, I'm now 41 and my body is starting to feel the strain…

"It’s time to get them to go smaller, I’m suffering really bad with my back."

Narrating the video, the hitmaker added: "Despite the risks involved, my family and fiancée Ryan are being super supportive."

Coming into view, Ryan explains: "So it's gone on for so long now, I can see how it's getting you down and I completely agree with it.

"It's played on your mind for too long."

With the backing from all of her loved ones Kerry heads to Harley Street to discuss the surgery in detail with Dr Joffily.

"So today, I'm heading to Harley Street to meet with my cosmetic surgeon Dr Joffily, to see what he recommends."

Cameras also go inside the operating theatre as Kerry’s cosmetic surgeon performs the procedure.
