Love Islands Chloe Burrow floored as she spots major rule change in 2023 series

Former Love Island star Chloe Burrows has shared her shock with fans on online, after the ITV2 show appeared to have a new rule change.

The 27 year old appeared on the hit dating show in 2021 and became a finalist alongside Toby Aromolaran.

But in a recent Twitter rant, Chloe was left fuming when she discovered that contestants from this year's series were allowed to use fake tan- something that was known to be prohibited.

Sharing her frustration on the social media platform, she wrote: "No wtf they’re allowed fake tan this year??????? Wow x."

Cofused fans also shared their thoughts under her tweet, with one writing: "I thought they were allowed to have it in season 5 too?"

While a second said: "Why would you need fake tan when your in the sun all day lol."

A third person also chimed in and penned: "It looks so cold there so they need it."

Chloe previously expressed how gutted she was when she was told she wasn't allowed to bring the essential beauty product into the villa during her season.

In an interview with KISS Fresh, the Love Island bombshell was asked if there was one thing she wished she could’ve had in the villa.

Speaking candidly, she replied: "Uh, fake tan… and eyelash extensions."

She added: "I was in for a right shock when I went in that villa cause I’m fake tan and eyelash ’til I die, and went in there and [the producers] were like ‘yeah you’re not allowed fake tan because of the bedsheets.'”

"Cause obviously imagine that on TV – you can see bright pink stains everywhere from where I’ve been laying."

Although the Love Island contestants are having the time of their lives while also trying to find their perfect match in the sweldering heat, there are rules and regulations that need to be adhered to while in the villa.

Liana Isadora Van-Riel, who appeared on the show in 2016, previously told The Sun: "You're allowed one or two drinks a night, either wine or beer, no spirits."

She also hinted that the producers are very strict on protected sex.

Liana said: "There are loads of Love Island branded condoms."
