Love Island’s Olivia reignites bitter villa feud and accuses Tanyel of ‘lying’

Love Island ‘s Olivia Hawkins has reignited her bitter villa feud with co-star Tanyel Revan, as she accused the hair stylist of “putting other girls down” to boost a lie.

Drama has been brewing between the Tanyel, Liv and Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown ever since the Winter ITV series ended last month and it shows no sign of stopping.

Following the explosive reunion episode, Tanyel and Zara made a cryptic TikTok video which appeared to take aim at the former ring girl.

On Thursday (March 23), the plot thickened further after Liv shared a post from co-star Ellie Spence, 25, where she appeared to be discussing Zara and Tanyel, insisting she doesn’t “support mean girl behaviour”.

Now, Liv has spoken out on the developing feud as she hit back at the pair, arguing that Tanyel is acting differently outside the villa.

It came after Tanyel accused Shaq Muhammed and Liv for specifically influencing Jordan Odofin in choose Ellie over Tanyel in a recoupling, leaving her to be dumped.

Speaking on the popular radio programme Access All Areas, Olivia was asked who is acting differently in the outside world compared to their time in the South African villa.

She replied: “For me personally, maybe Tanyel. I thought we really got on in the villa. We had our ups and downs but when she left I thought we were good.

“I’ve been seeing a lot said on podcasts and things, so I'd have to say Tanyel. I think she thinks that myself, Shaq and Tanya were the ones setting her up to leave but that absolutely was not the case.

“She had said multiple times that her and Jordan weren’t really more than friends and with Spencer as well.

Liv went on: “I guess she’s had the chance to meet with both of them on the outside and she hasn’t so that just says it all. I just think to put other girls down to boost your lie is just not on.

“We haven’t spoken. I saw her at the finale and I gave her a hug just to say hi but we haven’t really spoken.”

In the cryptic video, Tanya and Zara stood close to one another with another blonde pal as they all mimed along to a viral soundtrack, which went: “Bombastic side eye, criminal offensive side eye” which they captioned with an eyeroll emoji.

And Olivia was quick to respond as she shared a clip of herself dressed in a glittery gold sequin dress as she blew a kiss to the camera as Mariah Carey’s voice can be heard singing: “Why you so obsessed with me” in the background.

On Thursday (March 23), Ellie took to Instagram for an impromptu Q&A with her newfound followers where she discussed whether she spoke to Olivia after the reunion.

The Islander shared a sweet snap of the pair sharing a fond embrace, which she captioned: “Of course, I don’t support mean girl behaviour or online hate in any capacity, we’re all human and it’s not ok to add fuel to a fire when someone is already going through it.”
