Megan Thee Stallion has announced that she will be headlining a live virtual concert next weekend, the rapper’s first performance since touring was cancelled as a result of COVID-19 earlier this year.
Teaming up with choreographer JaQuel Knight for this live performance – who mostly famously worked on Beyoncé‘s “Single Ladies” video – the American’s show will be streamed in front of no audience or fans, and presented by Live Nation.
This new announcement will come as a welcomed change of focus for Megan Thee Stallion, who recently claimed that rapper Tory Lanez shot her multiple times before his subsequent arrest for carrying a concealed weapon.
Access to the show will be provided by Live Nation on August 29 at 6pm ET (or 11pm BST) on August 29. You can purchase tickets here.
In other news, England’s lockdown ravers will now face heavier fines from this week onwards.
