Michelle Keegan sends support to Tom Parkers widow in sweet social media post

Michelle Keegan took to Instagram to share her support for Tom Parker’s wife Kelsey after his recent death.

The Wanted singer was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer, back in 2020 and was given just 12 months to live.

Despite all odds, he was able to join his bandmates on their recent Greatest Hits tour before he passed.

He was just 33 years old when he died and leaves behind two children and his doting wife Kelsey.

Michelle shared a sweet message for his heartbroken spouse: “Absolutely heartbroken for Kelsey, his beautiful babies, family and everyone who knew Tom. What a truly special guy.”

She continued: “Such an honour to have known him and witness first hand their love, they really are the true definition of soul mates. Gone far too soon, rest peacefully Tom.”

Corrie star Michelle, who had previously dated Tom’s fellow bandmate Max George, ended the post by telling Kelsey that she is “thinking of her always”.

Kelsey replied to the actress and told her she “loves her” and appreciated the fact that she “knew how their love was so pure and honest”.

She called her husband her “soul mate until the end” and signed off with a heart emoji.

Kelsey had announced the news on the day he died and said that he “passed away peacefully” with “all his family by his side”.

She told fans that their “hearts were broken” because he was the “centre of their world” and that she “can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence”.

Kelsey also urged fans to “unite” to ensure that her husband’s light “continues to shine for his beautiful children” and told her followers that he “fought until the very end”.

The Wanted’s official Instagram account also shared their own message after Tom's death.

The announcement told fans that his fellow band members and “the whole Wanted family” are devastated by the “tragic and premature loss” of their dear friend.

Despite their sadness, the message assured followers that he “passed away peacefully” and was “surrounded by his family and his bandmates.”

The account paid homage to Parker and called him an “amazing husband and father."
